Describe something you have built recently.
In early 2012, I drafted a complete eCommerce business plan, TradeUp,which was funded with $300k, 2 weeks after completion. I was the interim President, representing Pegasus Ventures, and put together a data storage company built with Unix capable of expanding into Pedabytes, led the technical team, wrote business plans and financials, made presentations to Series B and C financing.
Why do you want to work on a startup or side project?
Greater and faster rewards by thinking "out of the box" and have a very competitive application. Making presentations to the investors are my strengths. The challenge is following a formula so that funding can be raised every 3-4 months, and maintain the goals that fulfill the milestones detailed to the investors. I have very strong communications skills that are always directed to investors,
Anything else you'd like to mention about yourself?
Believe in hitting milestones and understand clearly the fund raising process. I have had considerable experience in forming companies, managing teams, and identifying the key ingredients in running a company. I have worked with startups, mid-sized companies, as well as publicly traded companies, which experience is key to managing a start-up team. I have great macro-economic and technical analytical skills, needed to understand the trends and opportunities in the marketplace.
